Pilgrim Towers is available to eligible seniors without regard to race, creed, sex, or national origin. It houses seventy-four apartment units on ten floors designed for seniors on limited incomes who are able to live independently. 

Pilgrim Towers has both studio and one-bedroom apartments*. These bright, cheerful apartments have been designed to provide corner windows in each unit. A regular schedule of renovation and replacement keeps the apartments looking sharp and in good repair.

Pilgrim Towers is an independent living facility and is regulated by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  As such, HUD requires that residents meet the following requirements:

HUD Requirements:
62 years of age or older. If married, one spouse must be 62 years of age or older

Low-Income Standards (Couples and singles):
Please note the figures below are current, the income standards change each year
Single - annual income cannot be more than $44,950
Couple- not more than $51,400
Rent must not exceed 40% of your income
*15 of the 16 one-bedroom units are classified as "Section 8-Units". There is a seperate waiting list of eligible applicants for those units

Citizenship: Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States

Must pass credit and criminal evaluation
